Gateway Commons Business Park is a mixed-use project comprised of retail, commercial and industrial lots offered FOR SALE by Hamilton Vance Partners of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Gateway Commons’ proximity to a number of existing major employers, aviation centers, medical facilities and neighborhoods is central to its value.  None more so, however, than two of its neighbors:  The existing – and expanding – Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport (formerly Williams Gateway Airport) and the former GM Proving Ground, now known as Mesa Proving Ground.

Big news at the Mesa Proving Ground just minutes away from the project is very exciting for Gateway Commons’ future.  Owner/Developer DMB recently announced a deal in the works with Gaylord Entertainment, a leading hospitality and entertainment company, to buy and develop 100 acres of the Proving Ground property.  Based in Nashville, TN, Gaylord is renowned for creating sophisticated, world class meetings-focused resorts such as Gaylord Opryland (Nashville), Gaylord Texan (Dallas-Ft. Worth) and Gaylord Palms (Orlando).

The effects of this new resort complex will be far-reaching, creating a whole new dimension to the area.  Mesa and the entire Southeast valley are destined to shed the small-town mantle, becoming a glistening, distinct new city-center apart from Phoenix.

Expansion at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport as a destination airport in its own right is another reason for continued optimism.  The Brazilian-based producer of executive jets and regional commercial aircraft, Embraer, recently opened a new $10M aircraft service center.  It will be joined by Hawker Beechcraft and CrownAir, both with facilities currently under construction, to provide services to the increase in aviation industries choosing Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport for their needs.  Area officials credit nearby ASU Polytechnic and Chandler-Gilbert Community College with attracting these important vendors by offering a curriculum of aviation-related courses which will spawn a constant stream of graduating students to fill positions as business ramps up.  Along with these newcomers, Honeywell, Raytheon and Motorola all continue to provide substantial employment opportunities in the area.

Gateway Commons Business Park is right in the middle of it all, with the expansive new Gaylord hotel/convention center AND the dynamic Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport both just minutes away.
